Ak-Duck proudly presents the soundtrack to "Beaufort" - the 2007 Berlinale Film Festival, Silver-Bear winner for best director.
The soundtrack was composed by the pioneer Israeli electronic artist Ishai Adar which was one of the founders of cult Israeli experimental pop band "The Top-Hat Carriers". Shortly after leaving the band, Adar launched various musical collaborations such as: SSP with artist/musician/choreographer Ohad Pishof and Two Tall Men with DJ/producer Yoav B (Delsin).
In 1997 he released "Her", his debut solo album under the name Oosh.
"Her" fused Dance and Electronics and was a time defying listening experience – an album which transcends technological and fashion trends. During that period, Adar began specializing in sound and music design for video-art, cinema and television soundtracks. "Beaufort" is Adar's second motion picture soundtrack. A dark and gloomy affair that hybrids between processed digital sounds, warm ambient scapes & light touches of 70's Progressive Rock. For Fans of Philip Jack, Biosphere & William Basinski.
