The third volume in the series is a split EP by electronic artists Steve Broca and Maps and Diagrams (Tim Martin), co’founders of the british label Cactus Island.
The split opens up with three tracks by Maps & Diagrams, which lean towards tender, dreamy melodies and deep structures that succeed in maintaining simplicity and delicacy.
In the three tracks that close the EP, Broca takes the listener into a higher bpm, which combines classic IDM with Electro motifs and broken beats.
Maps & Diagrams and Broca are among the high-rising names in the contemporary global electronic scene. In the past few years they've released tracks and albums through labels such as Static Caravan, Expanding, Arable, Toytronic and their own imprint.
